Picturing America Project

Picture
Picturing America, an exciting new initiative from the National Endowment for the Humanities, brings masterpieces of American art into the hands of children. Through this innovative program, students  will gain a deeper appreciation of our country’s history and character through the study and understanding of its art. Our group is one of the very lucky homeschool groups to be part of this program. We have for lend the very large (2x3 feet!) portfolio of beautiful reproduction prints that have been laminated for easy care. With it comes the guide book which in it's self is a sepctacular resource.

Group famlies can borrow it for as little as two weeks or for as much as a month. We are currently booking for the next year school year begning in September.  If you would like to have the portfolio and guide book  please submit your name in the comment form and you will be added to the list. Please check back here to see where you are on the list and whom you need to contact about picking it up.  In the contact form please include your  email  and how long you will be keeping the project for easy transer of the portfolio when your turn is up.
